Here’s Great Tip: From Lock-up to Startup Affect/Awareness: Beverly Parenti and Chris Redlitzat TEDxSanDiego 2012
Here is Something You Should See…
Kicklabs executives Beverly Parenti and Christopher Redlitz live only a couple of miles from San Quentin State Prison. But they crossed a tremendous gulf when they started The Last Mile, a program that gives inmates the training, support, and exposure to start technology businesses upon their release. Parenti and Redlitz expose the passion and perseverance of men whose potential is just waiting to be unleashed.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
