Here is Something You Should See…


Leveraging gifts (networks, skills, resources, etc.) to make an impact takes:
1) identifying where you want to make an impact,
2) identifying what gifts you have, and
3) acting on these gifts to propel your cause. I would like to deliver a Talk on how I leveraged my own gifts to create a student organization that has yielded impact, and how others can do the same. Christa created a student coalition (4Words – 4words.carrd.co) by leveraging her skills (entrepreneurship, teaching, partnership development), resources (entrepreneurial funds, social media platforms, ESL books from volunteer site), and networks (Rice student body network, ESL Spanish speaking network, NPO network). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
