  1. Growing up with depression and a horrible self-esteem, I used to let everything bad that happened take me down. Through a job loss and a separation from my wife, I have learned to reframe and know that adversity does not have to destroy me. What a difference! Thanks for sharing this great information.

  2. Reframing your thinking, away from 'old values' (feelings/beliefs) is a wonderful motivator away from devastation towards determination… personally and professionally! Thank you for sharing Heather.

  3. What an inspiring talk, Heather! Reframing continues to be so empowering in my life too. In my experience, that step you discuss of flowing through all your emotions can be very important to create space for that cognitive reframe. Otherwise, it can seem like fake positivity icing on top of a shame/fear/grief cake. Best to create that mindset shift on the foundation of a broken opened heart where the light shines through all the holes. Believing you are worthy of walking through a different door after one slams behind you makes a huge difference. Thank you for sharing your powerful stories of reframing! I love this TedTalk!!
