Here’s Great Tip: We only live to fail | Amir Hossein Yazdani | TEDxTehran

Here is Something You Should See…

Success has swallowed up our world. Being successful is the ultimate dream of us all. Before achieving self-awareness, we dread failure and learn how to sacrifice ourselves at the glorious gates of success. This may help us win some victories but we are, indeed, continuous losers. The time has come to re-evaluate success and failure in order to win back life and a humane world. Can we fight for failure and be victorious? Isn’t failure the secure main artery to success? Born in 1980, Dr. Amir Hossein Yazdani studied psychology in Tehran University. Meanwhile, he simultaneously continued his studies in western and Islamic philosophy, sociology as well as Religious studies.
He began his career in 2002 as a university teacher, researcher, and consultant in the state- and privately-owned organizations such as Tehran University and Semnan University, the Women Entrepreneurs Society, an NGO, and the ministry of energy.
Since 2010, he has practiced psychoanalysis while teaching philosophy outside the academic world.
He is currently a psychoanalyst at the Mina House; an advisor to the Gashtar Industrial Group; and a teacher at the Ravesh School. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
