If you look at how entrepreneurship is glamorized on social media, you’d think that it’s sunny and rosy and fun for 98% of the time.

Truth is… it’s the reverse.

  3. Hold up! IDK where this guy is coming from. Yes, entrepreneurship is can certainly be lonely but it is not majority "navigating through dark clouds." Its the polar opposite. There are dark clouds, dont get me wrong but goddamn the roller-coaster of entrepreneurship is fun, exciting and enlightening. This guy trying to sell a book coming off as dark?

  4. When I started my coffee business I told my subscribers that I will vlog the entire process. Well months passed and I ended up only vlogging the good parts and being ashamed to show the mistakes I was making. I saw this video and the first minute hit me hard, it was exactly what I was experiencing. So I decided to make a video coming clean about sugarcoating things and it got way more views and comments of support than any of my other recent videos. People really do love honesty and it looks like 99% of people out there wanna see someone succeed rather than fail so it was a bit dumb of me to be afraid of what people would say about my mistakes. Anyways thanks for the good advice Gary!

  5. I was down and having a response hangover and this enlivened me. Cheers Gary Vee. You've got some awesome filmmakers there too, and a badass soundtrack, and I love that guy who dared to ask you the important question.

  8. Gary I have an important question. I absolutely love making music and want to make money doing so but I have to accept the possibility that my skill level may not be acceptable. I’ve been educating myself and actually practicing for 10 years. Would it be more beneficial to continue toward my passion or attempt new skills or endeavors in order to find more “success”?
