This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences.
He discusses Korea’s efforts to become a world leader in green technology and how President Park’s new “creative economy” will foster innovation within the sciences. He is most likely to discuss the government policy aspects, rather than the business or scientific/technical aspects. He ends his topic by giving some recommendations and insights into innovation/green technology policy efforts.

Andrew Ju is currently a Fulbright Junior Researcher at Seoul National University’s Graduate School of Environmental Studies and is examining the intersection between South Korea’s government policies regarding green technology, nuclear energy, and foreign affairs. He graduated with honors from the University of Southern California as a Global and Discovery Scholar with a Bachelors of Arts in International Relations Global Business. He was formerly the Assistant Editor in Chief of the Southern California International Review and has been published in the University of Pennsylvania’s SIR Journal of International Relations as well as in USC’s annual Thematic Option publication. He is a Korean-American from Los Angeles and a burrito enthusiast.
